Passive Voice

A.                Simple Present Tense
Active    : Budi eats fried rice every morning
Passive   : Fried rice is eaten by Budi every morning
Active    : Dani cleans his bedroom every Sunday
Passive   : Dani’s bedroom is cleaned by him every sunday
B.                 Present Continous Tense
Active    : He is playing a computer
Passive   : A computer is being played by him
Active    : Dono is reading a novel
Passive   : A novel is being read by Dono
C.                 Present Perfect Tense
Active    : They have done their homework
Passive   : Their homework have been done by them
Active    : Gita has sung this song twice
Passive   : This song has been sung by Gita twice
D.                Perfect Continous Tense
Active    : Tejo has been looking for that girl since yesterday
Passive   : That girl has been being looked for by Tejo since yesterday
Active    : They have been doing the project for a month
Passive   : The project has been being done by them for a month
E.                 Simple Past Tense
Active    : Mr. Budi repaired his car yesterday
Passive   : Mr. Budi’s car was repaired by him yesterday
Active    : My mother cooked a turkey last thanksgiving day
Passive   : A turkey was cooked by my mother last thanksgiving day
F.                  Past Continous Tense
Active    : Dimas was playing a guitar in a festival last week
Passive   : A guitar was being played by Dimas in a festival last week
Active    : When I arrived, Budi was writing a letter yesterday
Passive   : When I arrived, A letter was being written by Budi yesterday
G.                Past Perfect Tense
Active    : He had eaten all the mangoes before you arrived
Passive   : All the mangoes had been eaten by him before you arrived
Active    : I had watched this movie twice
Passive   : This movie had been watched by me twice
H.                Past Pervect Continous Tense
Active    : I had not been cleaning my bedroom, when my mother cooked a noodle
Passive   : My bedroom had not been being cleaned by me, when a noodle was cooked by my mother
Active    : Beno had been eating a fried rice, when I came yesterday
Passive   : A fried rice had been being eaten by Beno, when I came yesterday
I.                   Simple Future Tense
Active    : Will your mother make a cake tomorrow morning?
Passive   : Will a cake be made by your mother tomorrow morning?
Active    : They will grill the beef in the party this evening.
Passive   : The beef will be grilled by them in the party this evening.
J.                   Future Continous Tense
Active    : Will you be serving your special cake if I come tonight?
Passive   : Will your special cake be being served by you if I come tonight?
Active    : I will be writing a novel tonight
Passive   : A novel will be being written by me tonight
K.                Future Perfect Tense
Active    : Imam will have read this novel by the end of this week
Passive   : This novel will have been read by Imam by the end of this week
Active    : The workers will have built this building by the end of this year
Passive   : This building will have been built by the workersby the end of this year
L.                 Future Perfect Continous Tense
Active    : I shall have been studying English for full three years by the next month
Passive   : English will have been being studied by me for full three years by the next month
Active    : Nani will have been doing the job for eight days
Passive   : The job will have been being done by Nani for eight days
